In this session of The Smart Passive Income Podcast, I’m happy to welcome my good friend Chris Ducker from ChrisDucker.com to the show! After we both attended Chris Gullibeau’s World Domination Summit in Portland, Chris came down to San Diego to hang out with my family for a week.
This is the second time Chris has been a guest on the show. The first time was way back in SPI Podcast Session #20 when we talked all about Virtual Assistants. Today’s session is unique because it was recorded with Chris right next to me in my home office, which was pretty cool. 🙂
We decided to record this impromptu session because we had such a great time putting together a full-day premium mastermind event for 25 people at a co-working space here in San Diego on July 12th. It was such a success that we wanted to talk about what we learned from putting on the event and also how important starting and building relationships is for your business, and just how powerful extremely close relationships are for your business too.
This is a very casual, fireside chat-like episode. It’s different from all of the others (probably because Chris and I are chatting in the same room) but one of the most fun to record, and I definitely know you’ll find value in it. I hope, based on our conversation together, that you might consider becoming the node for connections within your niche and start your own mini-events like this too one day.
I can’t speak for Chris, but I know that for me putting on this event was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done. Already we’ve seen attendees take action, form mastermind groups and some have already requested a reunion meetup next year! How awesome is that?!
Chris and I may get together in the future to do more 1-Day Business Breakthrough events just like this one. Of course, Chris lives in the Philippines so this won’t happen too often, but he travels in and out of the U.S. quite a bit so if there’s enough interest and it makes sense, we may put on another event.
