I took Power Up Podcasting before I started [my podcast] and found it even more helpful than I expected it to be. Guarantee it saved me a ton of time in getting those first few episodes up and running.

13 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Hey there! My name is Pat Flynn and I’m what you might call an “OG Podcaster.” All that means is that I’ve been doing this for a VERY long time, so if you’re looking for someone with the most experience, look no further.
Since 2010, I’ve recorded over 1,500 episodes of podcasts and have had over 75 million downloads across several podcasts, including the top-ranked and award-winning show, The Smart Passive Income Podcast.
But more importantly, I’ve taught tens of thousands of people just like you how to start, grow and monetize their podcasts. I’ve even contributed to the start of some really BIG podcasts, like The Tim Ferriss Show.
I know what works and what doesn’t, because I’ve been there. It’s not just about how to start a podcast, but how to grow a podcast, and turn it into something that could potentially generate an income for you.
That’s my specialty. I want to make sure that when you start your podcast too, you’ll have the best chance to get a strong listener base and turn it into something bigger.
There are many challenges in starting and growing a podcast, but my proven online course, Power-Up Podcasting®, has helped thousands of other students. Now, it’s your turn to grab the mic, share your message, and build your loyal fan base.
How this course sets you up for success
STARTING A PODCAST IS HARD WORK, BUT YOU'RE NOT ALONE
I know all too well how intimidating it can be to start a podcast. It took me 18 months from when I first announced that I was starting my podcast until I actually launched it.
I got stuck! Part of it was learning all the technical aspects (I didn’t have a course to help me get started) but mostly, I was scared. I was so concerned with wanting to do it “right” that it kept me from the most important step, getting started.
That’s why I’ve created this course! This is what I wish I had when I first started.
I want you to have a place to go when you have questions or you need a little encouragement. Power-Up Podcasting® has built-in ways for you to get help, whether you're looking for feedback on your podcast logo, stuck with an editing problem, or you just need a little pep-talk before your big launch.
That's why I've set up three ways for you to get support:
Join the Accelerator program
Once you've enrolled in the All-Access Pass, opt-in to the Power-Up Podcasting Accelerator program, beginning September 28, 2023. This ten-week program has four check-ins per week, along with a special messaging space for Accelerator students to ask questions and provide encouragement along the way. See the full schedule.
Weekly office hours with Pat Flynn
Get feedback directly from me in my office hours. I host a weekly Zoom call that's only available to course students. Get your questions answered and learn from the questions of the other SPI course students.
Ask your question in the Power-Up Podcasting course community
Get feedback from other PUP students in the Academy course community. If the pacing of the Accelerator isn't the right for you, or if you want to ask a larger group of your fellow students for feedback, ask your question right in our student center.

These are real students, just like you. They knew they had a message they wanted to share, just like you. Power-Up Podcasting® helped them start their podcast to share that message. Let it help you, too.

such as course worksheets, will be available to download.
What skills will this course teach me?
Power-Up Podcasting® will teach you how to set up your recording equipment, the fundamentals of recording and editing audio, principles for good recording (both solo and interviewing others with remote software), how to prepare a podcast file for upload, setting up your podcast host, submitting your show to directories, and give you a basic plan for launching your show, including what you should include on your website and how to announce your show to your audience.
What equipment/tools will I need to complete the course?
Initially, you just need a computer with an internet connection. The first step of the course will walk you through the equipment you will need and will provide our recommendations, including a microphone. The course offers tutorials on several types of audio recording software, including Audacity, which is free.
Discounts and Refunds
Will I get to own all the courses?
No. You will have access to the courses for as long as you are a paid subscriber. If you end your All-Access Pass membership, you will no longer have access to the courses. If you purchased any courses before becoming a member, you will retain access to that course.
If I already own some of SPI's courses, do I get a discount?
There are no discounts if you already own one, or even all of our courses. You will continue to own those courses you have already purchased, regardless of if you join All-Access or not.
I’m in SPI Pro, do I get a discount?
You don't need to pay anything extra! The All-Access Pass is now included in the SPI Pro membership.
I bought the All-Access Pass but I'm not using it. Can I get a refund?
The All-Access Pass is non-refundable and non-transferable. Likewise, we are unable to pause membership access. Please be sure you'd like to join before you purchase.
Courses Included
Will new courses be added to the All-Access Pass?
New courses will be added to All-Access Pass before being sold as individual courses. Workshops will be continuously added exclusively to All-Access Pass each month, growing our workshop catalog to enhance all our course curriculum (and more).
Programming
Do I have to participate in the accelerators and pathways?
Nope! All our programming is optional, but we strongly encourage you to take advantage of it.
Can I purchase the workshop content that happens in the All-Access Pass instead of joining as a member?
Some workshops will be available to attend live by non-AAP members for a fee. Only AAP members will have access to workshop replays.
Should I purchase an individual course or an All-Access Pass membership?
If you purchase an individual course, you will have lifetime access to that course. You will also have access to Pat’s weekly office hours and a dedicated course space in our Academy (access to office hours and the community space are contingent on following our community guidelines). Purchasing an individual course is a good value for someone who wants to learn about one specific area on their own timeline, like launching a podcast (Power-Up Podcasting) and is not interested in participating in community programming, accountability, and additional content.
If you purchase AAP membership, you will have access to our course catalog, our workshop catalog, and our community programming for as long as you are a member. If you end your membership you lose all access. This is a good value for someone who wants to learn about broader topics in an affordable way, like how to grow and expand a business, and who enjoys interacting with peers and SPI experts through designed experiences.
Existing Course Students
Can I exchange a course I bought for All-Access Pass membership?
No, we are unable to exchange individual course purchases for AAP membership or vice versa.
Why should I join if I already own courses?
The biggest value of AAP is the community-powered programming that happens every day, like the accelerators and guided pathways. This is so much more than watching pre-recorded lessons and doing work on your own. Our programming is designed to help you make professional connections, have accountability, and most importantly, to have support along the way. You will also have access to exclusive curriculum pathways to help you reach specific business goals.
If I violate the Community Guidelines, will I lose access to the course I already own?
If you violate our Community Guidelines you will be removed from the course community space associated with the course you own and your direct messages will be turned off. You will continue to have access to the Course and the Office Hours replays.
Guidelines and Policies
Do you have an age requirement?
All community members must be at least 18 years old to join.
Do you have Community Guidelines?
Absolutely we do, you can read them here.
If I get kicked out of All-Access Pass for breaking the Community Guidelines, will I still have access to the courses?
No, if you are removed for violating our Community Guidelines, you will be fully removed from our platform with no refund (this is our policy for all our Communities and Courses).
Cancellation policy
There are no discounts if you already own one, or even all of our courses. All-Access gives members exclusive curriculum, pathways, and connection opportunities beyond what is found in an individual course (more on that below). You will continue to own previously-purchased courses regardless of whether or not you join All-Access.
