It’s another essential inspirational staple. I’m now shifting from a “scrappy entrepreneur” (and there’s nothing wrong with that, by the way) to one who views his business more like a CEO (meaning, just getting really into the numbers and team-building aspect of my business; something I’ve really never paid attention to before). It was nice to read this book at this point in my journey because it shows that I can still grow while doing good, and it provided fantastic examples of how companies like Whole Foods and others have done this the right way—using Big Business for good, instead of being a part of that normal “stigma” for how Big Business is usually seen in the eyes of people.
This book is for everyone. Even small businesses and online entrepreneurs can make a huge, positive impact on this world. As I’ve said—and we’ve heard several times in the past on SPI—it’s all about making the Internet a better place. That’s how you build a successful, long-term, and proud business that you can smile about when you sleep at night.
