It’s funny because I just had a similar conversation with my dad who is also from the baby boomer generation. The crazy thing is, he actually purchased a guide a few months back on how to do exactly what I am doing and he never got around to using it because he is too busy working. One day I will take the time to help him set up a niche site, when he gets a day off.

well, most people who try to make money online make less per hour than they would at a regular job. I’ve been working on unique articles (already mindmapped) and never thought about turning them into e-books.
Right now I just want to ask:

How many pages/articles do you need for a good e-book?
I create art, but I wonder how a photo-e-book would work.

That was very beautiful what your father said to you. I Just completed my very first ebook and is looking for ways to market it. My husband think I am wasting my time with this internet thing. He wants me to go out an find a real job. I hope to prove him wrong soon. If I can give my ebook a plug, “How I went from $0 Business Credit to over $300,000

For now it’s being marketed on smashwords.com and scribd.com

It’s funny, and sad at the same time. I have the same thing with my parents. Except my mom, she is a world authority on iguanas, I told her, Mom write me a small book on iguana care. I’ll market it, make a site and sell and ebook, and give her the money. She doesn’t think it will sell or make money. too closed minded to even try. it’s a shame because she could be supplementing her income. Makes me sad and mad too, at the same time.
