After reading a few of the things you wrote about writing Ebooks it motivated me to write one. In fact someone asked me if I ever wrote a book just the other day. One day I would like to write a real book but for now I’ll start with an ebook.

I’d like to have it ready for the beginning of 2012 but we’ll see. I’ve never done that so I’m not really sure how long it will take to have something that I’m comfortable with.

I’m a new reader and found your blog a week ago and am loving it! This is awesome! You’re such a great writer and you have great and simple ideas to pass on to people! Truly an inspiration. Keep up the good work and I’m working my way up to present day! haha

I took your advice on writing for eHow (by the way, they’ve opened it up to Canadians now! hurray!), but I got rejected . Maybe I’ll try again in a few weeks. I guess it’s fairly competitive now since it’s been around for awhile. Any advice?

Hi Pat,

Thanks for all of your helpful information. The thing that’s keeping me from selling an online product is a lack of money. I graduated from college recently and haven’t found a 9 to 5 job. I don’t have a bank account so this isnt a case of having very little money. I have zero dollars. I don’t have many ideas either, but after reading this post, I don’t think I’ll have a problem with that. Thanks for your help.

You are so right Pat, I make money selling one of the products you have mentioned above. I found that peoples illness, particularly an embarrasing one, prevents them seeking advise from friends, relatives etc, and a lot are even embarraased to visit their GP.

Whilst some of you may think that I am making money from peoples misery, it is more a case of the books and information I am supplying are helping lots of people get treatment and even cures for conditions that would otherwise go untreated.

After reading through your archives, I feel like I can write a few different ebooks using a similar style that you used with intheleed: start out making a learning tool and then follow up with an ebook. I see you reference “The Magic of Making Up”. That product does sell well, but anyone trying to promote it now would have too much competition. There are already a lot of affiliates promoting “The Magic of Making Up”, as it is a great product.

Also, don't be afraid to write an ebook in a very tiny niche. Although eHow writers are indeed a tiny niche, my eHow ebook has been extremely successful for me ... even though a competing ebook arrived on the scene only a couple months after I wrote mine.
