Random Fun Post of the Weekend – Gizmo

As I said last week, each weekend I’ll put up a fun, random post that doesn’t have to do with online businesses and work-at home type stuff. So today, if you haven’t already met him, this is our 4 month old Maltese puppy, Gizmo!

Gizmo is an awesome puppy. He keeps us busy all day and is a very fast learner. April and I are going on our first vacation up to Northern California next weekend after getting Gizmo, so it’s going to be a little tough for us because we’re really attached. After doing some research online, we found a great service for pet-sitting called SleepOverRover.

Instead of bringing your dog to a kennel, or leaving it at home and letting strangers come in a few times a day, SleepOverRover sets you up with a petsitter around your area, who will watch your dog at their house. The company screens all “baby sitters” and you even do a pre-sleepover meetup, which we did yesterday, to make sure everything is ok and you’re comfortable with the sitter. What an awesome idea for a business!

Anyways, we’re much more comfortable now leaving Gizmo over the weekend, and the best part is that we can call the sitter anytime to make sure he’s ok. Sweet.
