Thanks for this article as well as the one describing landing pages – I am currently muddling through the creation of a landing page for my facebook fan page in hopes that it will entice more people to like our page and content! Have you seen any downsides to using the “like to see the rest of our content” format thus far?

As a “professional” social networker I read about everything I can get my hands on having to do with FB. This article is one of the best by far and of course has been shared. I share many of the frustrations with page interaction. It seems every post is all but ignored. Not sure what to do about it. My most recent client has a great brand and marketable product http://www.facebook.com/TylersCoffee They want me to post in volume and every changing. I struggle to find ways to say click like or goto this website………. Also the “new” not being able to suggest friends has really taken a bite out of my numbers generation.
