Hi Pat – I’m new here – visiting from probloggger… I love your story and your transparency. I’m looking forward to digging through your files here!

I’ve got a personal blog that is more or less practice for me – I started it for my own well being – I literally figured out how to subscribe to blogs after I got it online. My goal is to figure out how to create some passive income for my company, Geofuels… I’ve got some ideas – your monthly reports are inspirational… thanks.

Hey Jeff – good stuff you have going on. I wouldn’t be surprised if you took it to the next level very soon, after a bit of hard work. Awesome!

Regarding your mp3s, your thinking is right on track. You should offer each one individually at X price, and then offer what’s called a BUCKET OFFER, which puts all of them into one large bundle, for a significantly lower price. People would be crazy not to go with the bucket offer this way.

So, you could do it like this. Offer 1 free mp3 for signing up for a newsletter. Then, within your auto responder series (not but right away), pitch the other files that you have and their individual offers. Then later (maybe the next day), pitch your bucket offer, and mention that anyone who bought individual mp3s can get the rest for the price difference of the package vs. the individual, if that makes sense. That way, people who do purchase will be more likely to get the bundle, and the people who don’t may not think about it because of the outrageous discount.

Something like that may work…you may first want to gauge interest by setting up an autoresponder and the free first mp3 to see what kind of response you get, but apparently so far it’s pretty good, which is a good sign.

Neat, thanks. I’ve got an interesting site going, http://www.liftkettlebells.com. It started off more or less for fun, but has started to get a good niche following. Only after reading Tim Ferriss and people like you have I started to realize that I need to start doing more to convert this popularity into income.

I get a decent revenue from affiliate links, but haven’t done much to optimize that or kick out the low performers. I also have a T-shirt account through Printfection that brings in a little bit.

Ideally, I’d like to use e-Junkie to start selling MP3 audio workouts. (I give one away for free now, and people love it.)

My initial thought was to have 10-15 titles for $12 a piece or so… but after reading your eBook, I’m kinda thinking it would be better to do a single bundle offer to limit the “paradox of choice” issue. Maybe something for a total of around $69 with 5-8 individual workouts.

What do you think? Any advice just in general?

Question on that: Affiliate earnings appear to make up a big portion of your income. Is that affiliate links to other company’s products, or the performance of sales to you through your own affiliate programs organized through e-Junkie?

Because I was new to iPhone apps, my only thought process was what would I want to see, or what do I think would be fun to have on the iphone. That’s it. Now, if I could go back, I would do things a bit differently, because the entertainment and “fun” category is so competitive. I think i’d much rather use my money and resources more on utility applications and ones that people may be able to use day in and day out.
