dollar-signWoohoo! Time for another monthly report!

Each month, I write a detailed report about where my online income comes from, along with the lessons I learned during the month and where I’m headed in the future. Part of the reason I do this is not only to help me keep track of how my businesses are doing, but also to let you in on exactly what kinds of things I’ve done or have planned to improve my results. I hope you enjoy my report for December of 2009. Click to continue…

dollar-signI’m excited to share with you my monthly income report for November 2009.

Each month, I write a detailed report about where my online income comes from, along with the lessons I learned during the month and where I’m headed in the future. PhotographsA lot can happen in one year. A lot.

Just one year ago, at the age of 25, I was living in my parents’ home, engaged to be married. I got laid off and wasn’t exactly sure what was going to happen next. Now, I’m married with a baby on the way, we have a puppy, we’re living in an apartment (about to move into a house), I own a couple of businesses and I work for myself on the internet. A lot can happen in one year.

I do feel very fortunate to be where I’m at today. That being said, I also know that it wasn’t all luck. There are a few things I’d like to mention about how I think I got here, before I get deep into the numbers. Click to continue…

dollar-signAnother month down, another monthly report to share!

It seems like a lot of time has passed since my last report, but I think that’s because I’ve been focusing a lot on creating quality posts on a consistent schedule for you to read. I feel, and I think most of you would agree, that the content here on the blog this past month has been some of the best so far. It shows in the number of comments and in the amount of traffic I’ve been seeing lately. For all of you readers out there, new and old school – I just want to say thanks.

Important Going-Ons in October

On a personal note, April (my wife), just entered her third trimester! She’s doing well, and the baby is healthy and moving around…a lot. Just the other day, I put my hand on her belly and felt the baby slowly move across where my hand was. It kind of felt like one of those back massagers you put on a chair, with the balls that move in a circular motion that you’re supposed to lean your back against, but in super slow motion. It was crazy!!!

Online, a lot of crazy good things have been happening too. Click to continue…

dollar-signYes – it’s that time of the month again! My monthly report for September 2009 is due!

I love writing these reports because it’s a great way for me to summarize and look back at what I’ve accomplished in the past month. It makes me think about what I could have done better and what I will do the next time I’m face to face with the same situations. On top of that, and I think what motivates more than anything to keep this up, is that many of you seem to enjoy these posts too. I hope it’s not just because you like seeing my earnings, but because of the lessons I’ve learned that you can hopefully apply online as well. Click to continue…

three-laws-of-marketing-and-successI thought this might be a fun way to get you to think about your entrepreneurial journey in another light. I hope you enjoy.

If you ever get stuck and want to give up, or don’t know why what you’re doing isn’t working out like you thought it would, think back to these laws and how they apply to you. Please note that when I say ‘business’, I mean your website, your online or offline store, your blog, your email list, your twitter or subscriber follower count, your love life – ANYTHING. Here is the first Law. Click to continue…

dollar-signThis is actually my 10th monthly income report here on The Smart Passive Income Blog. As you know, each month I give a detailed summary of my earnings, including where each penny came from, and what I’ve been up to that may have had an impact (or will have an impact) on my earnings. I will also conclude with what I’ve learned in the past month, and what I plan to do next. It’s not only a way for me to formally keep track of my earnings and have written goals for myself – but it’s more of a way to show you exactly what (or what not) to do to live a passive income lifestyle. dollar-signAs you know, each month I report my online income down to the penny. At the same time, I give detailed information about what I’ve been up to and how that might have an impact on my current and future earnings. At the end, I’ll conclude with what I’ve learned and what I have in store for the future. The purpose of these monthly income reports is to show you exactly what I do so you can learn from my successes and failures while doing business online and living a passive income lifestyle. dollar-signOk, this income report is a little late, but it is for good reason – I had a lot of work to do this past week. It’s kind of funny how making a living online works sometimes, especially if it’s through the means of passive income. For days, weeks, or even months, you may only need to work a few hours a week. However, in most cases that never lasts forever. So, you’ll need to spend a day, a week or even a month working hard once again before you can get back to just a few hours a week.

The difficult part, that I’m just learning about, is trying to get back into “hardcore work mode.” It’s like going back to school after a long summer vacation. You don’t want to do it, but you have to – and eventually you get back into the groove, which is where I was last week.

Anyways, here’s my June 2009 monthly income report. Click to continue…

This is the seventh installment of my monthly report that I use to summarize my income, where it’s coming from, and anything I did or learned that may have had an impact (or will may an impact) on my earnings.

It’s pretty crazy to think that I’ve been living off of passive income for the last 7 or 8 months, grossing over $135,000 and learning so much during my journey. I hope that in the future, my income will continue to rise and I can continue to provide you with insight on how I do internet business and earn a passive income. Click to continue…
