My Monthly Report – September 2009

dollar-signYes – it’s that time of the month again! My monthly report for September 2009 is due!

I love writing these reports because it’s a great way for me to summarize and look back at what I’ve accomplished in the past month. It makes me think about what I could have done better and what I will do the next time I’m face to face with the same situations. On top of that, and I think what motivates more than anything to keep this up, is that many of you seem to enjoy these posts too. I hope it’s not just because you like seeing my earnings, but because of the lessons I’ve learned that you can hopefully apply online as well.

Pat’s Three Laws of Business and Success: Law #1

three-laws-of-marketing-and-successI thought this might be a fun way to get you to think about your entrepreneurial journey in another light. I hope you enjoy.

If you ever get stuck and want to give up, or don’t know why what you’re doing isn’t working out like you thought it would, think back to these laws and how they apply to you. Please note that when I say ‘business’, I mean your website, your online or offline store, your blog, your email list, your twitter or subscriber follower count, your love life – ANYTHING. Here is the first Law.

My Monthly Report – August 2009

dollar-signThis is actually my 10th monthly income report here on The Smart Passive Income Blog. As you know, each month I give a detailed summary of my earnings, including where each penny came from, and what I’ve been up to that may have had an impact (or will have an impact) on my earnings. I will also conclude with what I’ve learned in the past month, and what I plan to do next. It’s not only a way for me to formally keep track of my earnings and have written goals for myself – but it’s more of a way to show you exactly what (or what not) to do to live a passive income lifestyle.

My Monthly Report – July 2009

dollar-signAs you know, each month I report my online income down to the penny. At the same time, I give detailed information about what I’ve been up to and how that might have an impact on my current and future earnings. At the end, I’ll conclude with what I’ve learned and what I have in store for the future. The purpose of these monthly income reports is to show you exactly what I do so you can learn from my successes and failures while doing business online and living a passive income lifestyle.

My Monthly Report – June 2009

dollar-signOk, this income report is a little late, but it is for good reason – I had a lot of work to do this past week. It’s kind of funny how making a living online works sometimes, especially if it’s through the means of passive income. For days, weeks, or even months, you may only need to work a few hours a week. However, in most cases that never lasts forever. So, you’ll need to spend a day, a week or even a month working hard once again before you can get back to just a few hours a week.

The difficult part, that I’m just learning about, is trying to get back into “hardcore work mode.” It’s like going back to school after a long summer vacation. You don’t want to do it, but you have to – and eventually you get back into the groove, which is where I was last week.

Anyways, here’s my June 2009 monthly income report.

My Monthly Report – May 2009

This is the seventh installment of my monthly report that I use to summarize my income, where it’s coming from, and anything I did or learned that may have had an impact (or will may an impact) on my earnings.

It’s pretty crazy to think that I’ve been living off of passive income for the last 7 or 8 months, grossing over $135,000 and learning so much during my journey. I hope that in the future, my income will continue to rise and I can continue to provide you with insight on how I do internet business and earn a passive income.

Cool Things We Can Learn About Internet Business From Analytics

Ever since I began my online adventures, I’ve always kept close track of certain statistics. As you already know, I’m very into the earnings of my different passive income streams, but I’m equally interested in the website traffic statistics too. When I started, I was fortunate enough to sign up for Google Analytics, Google’s free website traffic analyzer, and even though I haven’t taken advantage of everything it can do, I still find it very interesting, informational and inspirational.

I say inspirational because just from looking at the graphs and charts, I can track my progress and learn from it. Here are some real life examples and screenshots from my own website at intheleed.com, and what YOU can learn from them.

My Monthly Report – February 2009

I’m back from my honeymoon, yay! As much as I wish I was still in Oahu eating Macadamia nuts while watching crazy dudes surf on the 10 foot plus waves at sunset beach, or in Maui kayaking and snorkeling with sea turtles, I’m glad that I’m back and finally have some time to be able to add some new content to my blog for you.

I’d like to thank all of the guest posters I’ve had the last couple of weeks. We’ve had some great topics and also some great comments on each of those posts – so thank you all for keeping this blog going while I was away.
