I hosted a contest for my new eBook last month and just handed out 5 copies of it to contest winners. So far, they've all said that they love it! I like your idea to ask questions in order to get testimonials. I'll definitely do that. I did have a survey up so that the 5 contest winners can fill it out telling me what they think. I like your idea to ask questions in order to get testimonials. I’ll definitely do that. I did have a survey up so that the 5 contest winners can fill it out telling me what they think. I think the reasoning behind this was to protect the names of those who allowed me to use their testimonials on my website, but I think you are absolutely correct - if I were to use full names and locations, it would be more believable.
