That was a great post once again. I like the idea of breaking down projects so you can always focus on the “next task”.

My game plan for staying on track is to write down my goals on a note pad document. Every time I get to the computer I see the document with my checklist on it. As I cross items off of it I know that I am getting closer to my goals and it give me hope.

I just wrote an article today saying that I have just this problem (#4 and #5 mainly) and I have had it for the last 10 years. It’s effected all areas of my life. I’m glad that I decided to check out your archives and go back to the start of SPI.

Good tips! I especially can relate to tip #5. Sometimes when I get new ideas, I am immediately let down when I find out that someone else is already doing it. The Internet is just too old and too big for there to be very many more COMPLETELY original ideas. However, that doesn’t mean your idea can’t be unique and your own. Everyone can put their own personal twist on an idea and it’s also good to consider that you might have gifts that allow you to execute an idea better than others.

Nice new design, by the way.
