5 Inspirational Websites That Changed Me

I’ve been getting a lot of feedback lately about how I’ve been an inspiration to a lot of people. Not only to my readers online, but also to my friends and family too. I’m grateful that a lot of you feel this way, and it is my hope that I continue to do things that inspire people because in truth, hearing such feedback inspires me as well. It’s a vicious cycle that I feed off of to improve my business and my life. So, I want to thank you for inspiring me too.

Okay, so all of that sappy stuff aside, I wanted to take a little bit of time to show you the things online that inspire me. I guess you can say I am who I am partly because of who I read and what I watch. Feel free to wander to any of these sites below, and I’d be happy to hear what you think, or if you have come across some of these things as well. Enjoy!

Blogs That Inspire Me

  • Shoemoney.com: Jeremy Schoemaker is a huge inspiration to me when it comes to making money online. He has a ton of interesting and useful information on his blog, he’s a LOST fan just like myself, and he gives away a free t-shirt to a random commenter each and every day…just like this one:

And no…that’s not a framed picture of my sister next to me…that’s me in the 3rd grade. I don’t know why those cats are there either…

  • Copyblogger.com: Brian Clark is a copywriting guru, and I read his blog as much as I can. All of his articles are well written and I can’t stress how important the information he provides is for those of us who do any type of writing online.
  • GetRichSlowly: I actually found this personal finance blog when J.D. had about 1,500 readers, and now it has over 70,000. His content is great, but it’s been a true inspiration to me to see how much his blog has grown so much over a short period of time. He has recently quit his job to start blogging full-time. Awesome…frikin awesome.
  • PerryBelcher.net: This guy is just plain cool. He’s a marketing guru that has the greatest tips ever. He and Ryan Deiss, another marketing guru, tag team to do a lot of awesome projects together. Perry’s presentation skills are pretty awesome too, especially when it comes to videos and audio. He’s a fast talker, but I like it. Check out his video about his sneaky little email headline trick.
  • The Internet Business Mastery Podcast: I’ve been listening to Sterling and Jay’s podcast for almost a year now, and every time I would listen to them, I would get so inspired to start my own online venture and design my own lifestyle. They are who I owe most of my success to. Hands down. I joined their online community and learned even more about creating an online business, and without them, I would not be as successful as I am today. I’ll write more about them later, but you may be interested in Episode #55, which you can listen to on their website…why? Because I am in it! Yep! I was interviewed by both of them and you can listen to me talk about my online venture and how I got started. It’s a fairly long episode (1 hour in total), but my segment is near the beginning, and I must warn you…I was a little nervous, but you can listen to it here.

Pat-

Thanks for the links, those are pretty cool sites, I can’t believe some people have 70k+ readers, that is unbelieveable!! How does that even happen? I bet thats a great way to sell an ebook with an audience like that. I noticed your RSS counter at 149 the other day, so I’m betting that you will reach your goal of 150 by febuary. I had another great eHow day of $5.10, and then only $2.41 today off of only 21 articles, but Google seems to go though a process of indexing and ranking my articles within a day, then de-indexing them all of the sudden for 3-4 days, then usually back where they were or in a better spot after that. It’s weird, have you noticed that too?? Anways, congrats on the impending 150 readers!

Just subscribed to your site thanks to WriteForEhow.blogspot.com: I am a writer that makes a business on residual income and am thrilled to find your site.

As far as sites that inspire me, it is half the site and half the person, but mywahm.blogspot.com is one of the most inspiring individuals to date, same with nojobformom.com. These are two work from home writers that focus on residual income and openly share their progress and strategies. My blog of the same nature is newer, and they have provided a great resource for me.

Thanks for sharing!
