All Systems Go – Our iPhone App is Finally on Sale

ipopit-mainFor the last couple of months I’ve been talking a lot about LOLer Apps, a company my friend and I started to outsource and develop applications for the iPhone. I’m very happy to announce that our very first application, iPopit! went on sale in the app store on April 30th!

iPopit! is a game we created that involves shaking the iPhone vigourously up and down so that the bottle or can of soda on the screen explodes. There are 3 levels + a bonus level that only gets unlocked if you do well in the other 3 levels. Record times get saved too. (You can read more about how iPopit! works here). The best part is not really playing the game yourself, but watching your friends play it. You can imagine why…

It’s been a learning process…a very long learning process, but to finally see our app on sale is such a wonderful feeling. Even if our sales don’t perform as well as we hope, just knowing that we had an idea and were able to execute it is very fulfilling.

That being said, we are doing a lot to try and get our app noticed and sold. There are maybe 30,000 iPhone apps available now, and if we were to just sit and do nothing to promote it, it wouldn’t get noticed, and it wouldn’t sell.
